SCI-FI/FANTASY Poem: HERO, by Amber Crockett

Although not a man of many words, your expressions have much to say.
In the forest you feel at ease, as you navigate a maze of leaves.
With grace and skill, you spin and slash to uncover secrets that guide your way.
You roll into trees, smash pots, and command the breeze.

Music leads your life; from day to night, and throughout time.
In your heart you carry a tune and learn skills as you howl at the moon.
Each task requires a mask, when all combine you may become divine.
In just three days you stop the moon to save the world from certain doom.

Across this land you ride, master of secrets, to aid the princess; together a realm to heal.
Ever drawn to new dangers, unafraid, as each defeated earns you heart to grow strong.
Each place that you travel requires your skill, and gladly you help as you live for the thrill.
For a hero must face danger in pursuit of the evil in the darkness until the taint is forever gone.

There is wisdom in your heart, courage in your soul, but powerful is your foe.
Light overcomes darkness and seals it away, until again you return to save the day;
