Director Statement
Remnant features a world dealing with the aftermath of severe environmental degradation in the not-so-distant future, which presented a unique opportunity to examine how organizations and people deal with the collapse.
The two characters are suspicious of one another from the start, and underlying tensions soon reveal themselves to be deeper than they first appeared. The action takes place over the course of one long day, and when the day does end, something has changed in Jana and Dawes.
Despite our constantly changing world, human nature often becomes a problem.
For better or worse.
